Aurora Chamber Luncheon: Portage County Treasurer, Property Tax Insights, and Alesci’s Catering

The Aurora Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau is hosting a "Meet Our County Treasurer" luncheon featuring Joe Bica, who will provide updates and insights regarding the Portage County Treasurer’s Office.The event is designed to give the community a clearer understanding of how the Treasurer’s Office operates, with a specific focus on property tax issues. As property assessments and tax rates remain a primary concern for local homeowners and businesses, Bica’s presentation aims to clarify the processes behind these figures and provide a forum for questions.The luncheon is scheduled for Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Silver Creek Church located at 252 N.
