Aurora’s historic Aurora Inn has completed a major renovation of its Aurora Swim Center, investing roughly $200,000 into upgrades to the indoor pool, sauna, and exercise room—and for a limited time, new members who sign up by March 15 can lock in special discounted rates. The refreshed aquatics center now features a brighter, more modern pool deck, updated finishes, and an improved fitness space designed for both serious swimmers and everyday wellness. The 80,000‑gallon indoor pool remains large enough for lap swimming, with clearly marked lanes and generous deck space for families. Members also have access to locker rooms with sauna and complimentary pool towels, making it easy to fit a workout or a relaxing swim into a busy day. The Swim Center operates on a membership model, offering early‑morning lap swim and evening open‑swim hours for regular users.Management says the latest round of improvements is part of a broader effort to keep the facility clean, comfortable, and welcoming after years of incremental updates. Recent visitors have praised the size of the pool, the convenience of the sauna, and the overall cleanliness as standout features of the upgraded space.Located at 30 Shawnee Trail, the Aurora Swim Center is part of the Aurora Inn Hotel & Event Center, a longtime landmark in Aurora’s historic district. Hotel guests receive complimentary access to the aquatics center during their stay, while local residents can purchase memberships directly through the Inn.
