Nonprofit Works to Ensure Every Veteran in Aurora Cemetery Gets a Military Marker

The goal of the Veteran’s Grave Marker Project that no veteran be laid to rest without the acknowledgement of their service. Through this, we are reaching out to the families of those buried in Aurora Cemetery, located on South Aurora Road, Aurora, Ohio. We have been sending letters to the next of kin of our veterans to let them know their family member is eligible for a military marker. The project does the research needed and most times can obtain the needed documents to order the Veterans Administration military markers. Once the markers arrive in the cemetery, if there is an installation cost, we will take care of it, so there is no cost to the family.
